Police are appealing for witnesses after hundreds of pheasants were stolen from a farm in West Tisted.

Sometime between 11pm on Friday 12 March and 7.15am on Saturday 13 March 300 to 350 pheasants, worth around £2,000, were stolen from a barn at the Manor Farm Estate.

PC Peter Wilkinson, of the Alton Targeted Patrol Team, said: "A large vehicle would have been required to transport these birds and it would have taken at least two hours to load them up.
